Peter Mayr founded the Perfect Strangers in 1998 in Barcelona.
When Ian Gillan heard the Perfect Strangers he said “unbelievable”. During the last years the band gathered the reputation to be the best Deep Purple tribute band of the world and played hundreds of concerts in Spain, Andorra, France, Swiss, Croatioa, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Italy and Portugal.
The Perfect Strangers performed together with the Blues Brothers, Simply Red, Saxon, Motoerhead and many other famous musicians.
